A unique combination of American oak ex-bourbon and ex-Bordeaux red wine casks is a special release to mark the Coronation of King Charles III which is crafted from a unification of multiple wood types. The base of ex-bourbon matured Bimber embodies our textural, fruit-forward house style, whilst a sympathetic addition of single malt whisky fully matured in red wine sourced from Bordeaux adds both additional structure and complementary flavours of plump berries, shaved chocolate and tanned leather. This celebration edition of 1400 bottles at 52.2% ABV is presented with a gift tube adorned with an array of illustrations drawing from the life and passions of King Charles III and his
accession to the throne. We raise a toast to the King.

Bimber Distillery was founded by whisky lovers, with a mission to produce high-quality single malt whisky with character, using traditional methods that are rarely seen today. Their barley is grown at a single farm which is then traditionally floor malted, hand-mashed, and fermented slowly for seven days in wooden washbacks that were hand-made at Bimber's cooperage which uses direct fire to heat small copper pot stills, and mature spirit in hand-selected casks before it is bottled onsite. Bimber's hand-crafted approach to whisky production passionately combines traditional methods, expertise, and an absolute commitment to quality.
Bimber’s first casks were laid down on the 26th May 2016 and we released our inaugural single malt whisky (The First) three years later in September of 2019 – the limited release of 1,000 hand numbered bottles sold out in 3 hours. Bimber will be releasing a wide range of new single malt whiskies – all with our trademark accessible, fruit forward character – all handcrafted with passion.
