This release was distilled in 2006 at Fife's Daftmill, a farm distillery owned and operated by the Cuthbert family, producing whisky seasonally during the farm's quiet periods. This expression was put down to mature in a combination of 28 first fill ex-bourbon barrels for at least 15 years before 5,430 bottles were produced in 2022 at a strength of 55.7% abv
