This single malt whisky release from the Glenmorangie distillery in the Scottish Highlands is matured for the first 15 years in American white oak casks before around 30% is transferred to Spanish Oloroso sherry casks for three years. They are married together to create this award-winning 18 YO Scotch whisky. This limited edition bottling is presented with a box and bottle with a stunning label ("Dancing Florals of Glenmorangie") designed by Japanese Flower artist Azuma Makoto whose notable work include launching a bonsai tree in space and iced flowers series.

Glenmorangie 18 Years Old
After 15 years of maturation in American white-oak, ex-bourbon casks, around 30% of the whisky is transferred into Spanish Oloroso sherry casks for three years. When both parts have reached 18 years, they are blended together. The Oloroso casks provide an incredible degree of vibrancy, while the American oak balances the raisin-like sweetness of the sherry.
As delightful as a bouquet of honeysuckle, narcissus and jasmine, floral artist Azuma Makoto’s design for this limited-edition gift box reflects the enticing fragrance and vibrancy of Glenmorangie’s rare single malt. Honey gold in colour, citrus and floral on the nose, and sweet and spicy on the palate, this is a perfectly balanced whisky with hints of wood-smoke, caramelised fruit and nuts.
