Many moons ago, Viking oarsmen ploughed their longboats through thousands of nautical miles of ocean in search of new lands. The Orkney Rowing Club doesn’t sail quite as far today, but teamwork is still at their core. Established in 2014, the club has five traditional boats and around 40 members who raise significant funds to support local charities every year.

Orkney Rowing Club delivers a bold and intense single malt whisky that balances the sweetness of honey and vanilla with the fire of root ginger, carried on a wave of aromatic peat smoke. Limited release of 4,000 bottles and every bottle sold contributes to a donation to the Club.

We’ve been crafting our award-winning whisky at the Highland Park Distillery in Kirkwall, Orkney, since 1798. Age, experience and respect for tradition may define our whisky, but it’s Orkney that sets it apart. Something magic happens here and the result is the wild harmony of flavours found in our whisky.
