The fourth release of The Macallan's Classic Cut single malt is a departure from their traditional sherried whiskies. It combines ex-bourbon American oak cask maturation with sherry-seasoned European oak casks and is bottled at a robust 55% ABV.

In a first for the series, The Macallan Whisky Mastery Team had the freedom to experiment with various cask types to craft a distinctive single malt. Whisky Maker Polly Logan skillfully used sherry-seasoned European oak casks and ex-bourbon American oak casks to create a uniquely flavored and characterful expression.
