Macallan Home Collection (River Spey) with prints

The second edition in this series, The Macallan Home Collection: River Spey, is a homage to the majestic River Spey, which flows through our expansive 485-acre Estate. The Home Collection: River Spey is accompanied by a set of three limited edition giclée art prints created by the talented artist Michelle Lucking exclusively available for purchase on our website.

The captivating artwork featured on the packaging is a masterpiece by photo-realist artist Michelle Lucking, depicting the River Spey in its breath-taking winter scenery. The Spey, meandering gently through Macallan's Estate, serves as a timeless wellspring of inspiration and plays an integral role in Macallan's whisky-making process. As stewards of 1.5-mile stretch of the river, Macallan are dedicated to preserving its waters and the surrounding wildlife.

Michelle employs a unique technique, using her fingers to imbue her subjects—often water—with a lifelike quality. She has crafted a series of six original pastel paintings of the River Spey, with three of them showcased in the art folio. The chosen colours mirror the earthy tones of umber, russet, and gold, reminiscent of the hues found within our whiskies.
