The GlenAllachie Sinteis Series Part II: 2015 Scottish Oak & Oloroso Cask Matured

Born from the Gaelic word "Sinteis" (pronounced sin-teesh), meaning synthesis, this expression is a bold testament to cask experimentation and harmony. The Sinteis Series brings together the richness of Oloroso Sherry cask maturation with the rare intensity of Scottish virgin oak barrels, creating a whisky that is both complex and captivating.

This cask strength bottling (58.2% ABV) is presented with natural colour and non-chill filtration, preserving the whisky's full character and depth.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Mocha and grilled honeycomb lead into sun-dried red berries, layered with cinnamon butter, toasted lemon peel, and muscovado sugar.
Palate: A luscious blend of heather honey and citrus zest unfolds into warm baking spices, gingersnaps, and poached orchard fruits. The finish lingers with mocha and a touch of vanilla buttercream.
